ABOUT RIDEAU HEIGHTS
A privately owned campground which accommodates our camper guests
with 90 campsites, catering to tent and trailer family camping.
Services include electric and water hookups, showers, and flush toilets.
Fireplaces for camp fires and firewood is available.
Picnic tables situated at all campsites.
Laundromat facilities are on the premises and pay telephone
for your convenience.
Motorcycles welcome. Pets welcome kept leashed.
Rideau Heights, campsite is located in the heart of
the Nation's Capital, Ottawa, West.
Mooney's Bay Beach and Park only 8 minutes away by car, 5.4km.
Rideau Heights Campsite Rules
Please observe the following rules so that everyone's stay will be more enjoyable:
Walkways -Please respect the privacy of your fellow camper.
Do not walk through occupied campsites.
Use the designated walkways.
Visitors -Checkout time for day visitors is 10:00 pm
-No Exceptions!
Quiet time -10:00 pm to 7:00 am Strictly enforced.
Trash -Please deposit trash in designated areas where
trash bins are located. Please recycle.
Campfire -Fireplaces are provided and are not to be moved.
-Do not leave fires unattended.
-Please flood fires completely before going to bed.
-Please do not leave trash in fireplaces.
Pets -Your Pets are welcome.
-Please:
-Do not leave them unattended in the campground.
-Always clean up after them.
-Barking dogs cannot stay in the campground.
-Pets are not allowed in ANY BUILDING or PLAY AREA.
-Pets are to be kept on leashes at all times.
No Exceptions.
Misc -Alcoholic Beverages are allowed only on your site.
-Loud Music is not allowed - Strictly enforced.
-No PARKING On ROADWAYS.
Eviction -REFUNDS will NOT be given to anyone who is asked to leave because of their conduct.
If there is anything you need please don't hesitate to ask. We can correct only the problems we are aware of.
